Advanced care, close to Carroll County
Carroll County covers Carrollton, Villa Rica, Temple and Bowdon across the western edge of the metro. It is one of the fastest-growing counties outside I-285, and its patients are increasingly unwilling to drive through Atlanta for a planned procedure.
Most of Carroll County reaches our Newnan office in 35 to 45 minutes by way of Highway 16, Highway 27 or Interstate 20.
Omnia Health is positioned east of Carroll County rather than through it, which means no Atlanta interchange on the way in. For a multi-visit path like bariatric surgery or vein treatment, that difference adds up over the course of care.

Heartburn & GERD Care in Carroll County: common questions

Omnia Health treats GERD and hiatal hernias from our Newnan office, a short drive from Carroll County. Dr. Eduardo is a fellowship-trained foregut surgeon who offers medical evaluation, objective reflux testing, and procedural options including fundoplication and TIF when anatomy is contributing to confirmed GERD, with LINX coming soon.
Not always. PPIs are highly effective at reducing stomach acid and remain an appropriate long-term treatment for many people. What they cannot do is repair a hiatal hernia or restore a disrupted antireflux barrier, so the reflux is still ongoing, it just isn't acidic anymore. If they are no longer controlling your symptoms, or you would like to know whether a procedure could reduce how much medication you need, objective testing is what answers that. Patients from Carroll County start with an evaluation and testing, not with a decision about surgery.
