Who we are

This website is operated by Omnia Health, a surgical practice located at 110 Oak Hill Blvd, Suite 100, Newnan, GA 30265. You can reach us at (470) 742-1832 or info@omniahealthga.com.

What this website is (and isn't)

This website is not a patient portal. It does not hold your medical records and it does not take payments. It does let you send us information: contact and insurance forms, calculators and candidacy quizzes, and a chat assistant. What you send goes to the systems described below.

This website is not for emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.

Information you submit through forms

When you submit a contact, guide download, seminar, quiz or insurance verification form, it travels to an endpoint we run on Cloudflare Workers and is delivered to two destinations: our own patient-journey system on Google Cloud (Cloud Run and Cloud SQL, where your phone and email are encrypted), and a backup record in Google Workspace. Our system may then send you a text message through Amazon Web Services (SNS) and an email notification to our staff through Amazon SES. We use what you submit for one purpose: to respond to your request and help you schedule.

If you asked to be contacted, you can stop texts at any time by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply.

Alongside your contact details we record how you arrived, the page you landed on, the page you submitted from, the site that referred you, and any campaign tags in the link you followed. This tells us which of our own pages and campaigns are working. It is stored with your enquiry and is never sold or shared for advertising.

If a delivery fails, our systems record an error and a random reference number so we can investigate. They do not record your name, phone number, email address or your message in those error logs.

Some of our forms deliberately ask about your health. The vein evaluation asks which leg symptoms you have; the candidacy quizzes ask about BMI and weight-related conditions; the insurance form asks what care you are considering. Answering those questions is how we route you to the right visit.

Outside those specific questions, please keep free-text messages brief and avoid sending diagnoses, test results or insurance ID numbers through the website. We collect your full medical history securely at your visit, where it belongs.

Phone calls

When call tracking is enabled on our phone lines, calls may be recorded for quality purposes. If a call is being recorded, applicable notice requirements will be followed.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies and measures aggregate website usage: pages visited, time on page, which links and buttons are used, and which campaign brought you here. We use it to understand which pages help people and which do not.

What we do not send to analytics. We do not intentionally send form contents, chat contents, names, phone numbers, email addresses, insurance identifiers, symptom selections, diagnoses, or any other health information you have submitted to Google Analytics or to any advertising service.

What analytics does receive. Standard website-use information: the page you visited, which section of the site it belongs to (for example weight loss, heartburn or vein), the campaign or referring site that brought you here, browser and device information, and the fact that an action occurred, such as a form being submitted or a phone link tapped. Because our pages are organised by condition, the page address itself can indicate the kind of care you were reading about. If you would rather not share that, blocking analytics cookies in your browser stops it, and the site works exactly the same.

You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings or with a browser extension, and the site will work exactly the same.

The chat assistant

The chat window on this site is answered by Donna, an AI assistant we built and run on our own Google Cloud infrastructure. What you type is sent there, and to Google's Vertex AI (Gemini) to generate a reply, so it can answer you and, if you ask for one, create a callback request. Transcripts are stored encrypted. Please do not type diagnoses, medications, insurance ID numbers or other medical details into the chat. It is not a substitute for a visit and it is not for emergencies.

Other services this site loads

Serving a website means a few third parties see the technical request your browser makes, which includes your IP address:

• Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website and keeps short-lived security and performance logs.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces used here.
• Google Maps renders the map on our location pages.
• Google Analytics measures site usage, as described above.
• Google Cloud and Google Workspace receive form submissions and chat messages, under business associate agreements.
• Amazon Web Services delivers our text messages (SNS) and staff email notifications (SES).

Links out to financing or scheduling partners take you to their own sites, which have their own privacy policies.

We do not sell your information

We do not sell personal information submitted through this website, to anyone, for any reason.

Medical records and HIPAA

Some website forms collect information about your symptoms, your insurance or your reason for seeking care. When information you submit to Omnia Health is protected health information, it is handled in accordance with our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices and the applicable privacy and security requirements, whether or not you have become an established patient and whether or not it has been placed in a medical record. That notice is published here and is also provided at the office.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
