How much does it cost?

Your total cost has two parts: the medication and the program. When insurance covers a branded GLP-1, the medication is usually a copay, amount varies by plan. Without coverage, Wegovy (semaglutide) via the NovoCare pharmacy program starts at $349/mo for most doses; tirzepatide via Lilly Direct is $299–$449/mo depending on dose. Your visits are billed to your insurance where they are covered; if they are not, our self-pay rate is $200 for the initial consultation and $100 for each follow-up. No surprise fees, and financing through Cherry is available.

How pricing works

Three ways patients pay.

Whatever your coverage looks like, the path to a clear number is the same, we verify first, then plan.

01

Insurance-covered

When your plan covers a branded GLP-1 (often with prior authorization), your medication cost is typically a copay, amount varies by plan and dose. Your visits are billed to your plan as well, so you pay your usual copay or deductible amount rather than our self-pay rate.

Copay varies by plan. Medication billed separately.

02

Self-pay (branded)

If your plan excludes weight-loss drugs, branded Wegovy (semaglutide) is available through the NovoCare pharmacy program from $349/mo for most doses. Tirzepatide via Lilly Direct: $299–$449/mo depending on dose. We help you enroll in manufacturer savings programs.

Wegovy: from $349/mo · Tirzepatide: $299–$449/mo. Eligibility & restrictions apply; programs subject to change.

03

Program + coaching

If your visits are not covered by insurance, our self-pay rate is $200 for the initial consultation and $100 for each follow-up, billed separately from your medication. That covers your evaluation, dose titration, side-effect management and nutrition coaching, the supervision that makes the medication work.

If not covered by insurance: consult $200, follow-ups $100.

We do not lower cost by substituting compounded GLP-1, only FDA-approved, branded medications. Transparency over shortcuts.

What's included

The program fee, plainly

  • Medical evaluation with Dr. Eduardo and baseline labs
  • Follow-up visits and dose titration
  • Side-effect management and messaging

Insurance, HSA/FSA & financing

We help you pay the smart way

We verify your coverage and handle prior authorizations, apply HSA/FSA dollars where eligible, and offer financing through Cherry if your plan doesn't cover the medication.

Thinking long-term?

Medication vs. surgery cost

GLP-1 medication is an ongoing monthly cost; bariatric surgery is a larger one-time cost that's often insurance-covered. For some patients surgery is more cost-effective over time. Dr. Eduardo offers both and can talk through the math with you.

We bill your visits to your insurance whenever they are covered, so your out-of-pocket is your plan's copay or deductible amount. If your visits are not covered, our self-pay rates are $200 for the initial consultation and $100 for each follow-up, billed separately from the medication. On the medication side, when insurance covers it you typically pay a copay; when it doesn't, branded Wegovy (semaglutide) is available through the NovoCare program from $349/mo and tirzepatide via Lilly Direct is $299 to $449/mo depending on dose. Pricing is clear and all-in with no surprise fees, and we verify your coverage before you start.

Coverage varies widely. Commercial plans may cover FDA-approved weight-loss medication, usually with prior authorization, and many exclude it entirely. Medicare changed in 2026: from 1 July 2026 through 31 December 2027, CMS is running a demonstration called the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge, which gives eligible Part D beneficiaries certain weight-management GLP-1s for a $50 monthly copay. It currently covers all formulations of Wegovy and Foundayo and the Zepbound KwikPen. Eligibility is specific (a BMI of 35 or higher, or 30 or higher with heart failure, uncontrolled high blood pressure or stage 3a-plus kidney disease, or 27 or higher with pre-diabetes, a prior heart attack or stroke, or symptomatic peripheral artery disease), and the Bridge sits outside the ordinary Part D benefit, so your Part D plan does not have to opt in for you to use it. Separately, regular Part D may still cover these medicines when they are prescribed for another approved use, such as Zepbound for obstructive sleep apnea or Wegovy for cardiovascular risk reduction. Our team works out which pathway applies to your plan and your diagnosis before you start. We handle the prior-authorization paperwork either way.

Our program is built to include the things that actually drive results: your medical evaluation, follow-up visits, dose titration, side-effect management, and nutrition coaching. Visits are billed to insurance where covered. If they are not covered, self-pay is $200 for the initial consultation and $100 per follow-up. The medication itself is billed separately, through your pharmacy and insurance or self-pay.

You have options. If your visits are not covered, our self-pay rates are $200 for the initial consultation and $100 per follow-up, and we offer financing through Cherry, and we can use HSA/FSA dollars where eligible. We also help you explore manufacturer savings programs for branded medications. We do not substitute compounded GLP-1 as a cheaper workaround.

No. Omnia Health prescribes only FDA-approved, branded GLP-1 medications. We do not offer compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide, even though they can be cheaper. Compounded versions are not FDA-evaluated for safety, quality, or effectiveness, and we won't cut that corner.

Yes. For patients without coverage, we offer financing through Cherry, and HSA/FSA funds can be applied where eligible. Our goal is a transparent, predictable cost, no hidden or surprise fees.

New in 2026

Medicare and GLP-1 coverage changed this year.

Most practices have not updated their pages for this yet. If you are on Medicare, it is worth five minutes of our time to check which pathway you fall under.

Check my Medicare pathway

From 1 July 2026 through 31 December 2027, CMS is running a demonstration called the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge. Eligible Part D beneficiaries can get certain weight-management GLP-1 medications for a $50 monthly copay, regardless of which phase of the Part D benefit they are in.

What it covers

  • All formulations of Wegovy, injection and tablets
  • All formulations of Foundayo
  • Zepbound, KwikPen formulation only

Who qualifies

  • Adults with a BMI of 35 or higher, or
  • BMI 30+ with heart failure, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or stage 3a-plus kidney disease, or
  • BMI 27+ with pre-diabetes, a prior heart attack or stroke, or symptomatic peripheral artery disease

Two things to know. Participation is voluntary for Part D plans, so your plan does not have to opt in. And separately from the demonstration, ordinary Part D may still cover these medicines when they are prescribed for another approved use, such as Zepbound for obstructive sleep apnea or Wegovy for cardiovascular risk reduction. We check both before you start. Source: CMS, Medicare GLP-1 Bridge.
