Serving Griffin

Advanced care, close to Griffin

Griffin, the Spalding County seat southeast of Atlanta, sits at the far end of the Highway 16 corridor that runs directly to Newnan through Senoia. It shares the south metro's character and almost none of its traffic.

Griffin is about 45 minutes east of our Newnan office on Highway 16, a direct two-lane and highway route with no interstate merge.

The Highway 16 connection makes Griffin closer to Newnan in practice than the map suggests, since the entire route avoids Atlanta. Patients from Spalding County are welcome for bariatric, reflux and vein care on the same terms as our home counties.

Heartburn & GERD Care in Griffin: common questions

Can't find your answer here? Call us at (470) 742-1832 or book a consultation, we'll answer every question before you commit to anything.

Omnia Health treats GERD and hiatal hernias from our Newnan office, a short drive from Griffin. Dr. Eduardo is a fellowship-trained foregut surgeon who offers medical evaluation, objective reflux testing, and procedural options including fundoplication and TIF when anatomy is contributing to confirmed GERD, with LINX coming soon.

Not always. PPIs are highly effective at reducing stomach acid and remain an appropriate long-term treatment for many people. What they cannot do is repair a hiatal hernia or restore a disrupted antireflux barrier, so the reflux is still ongoing, it just isn't acidic anymore. If they are no longer controlling your symptoms, or you would like to know whether a procedure could reduce how much medication you need, objective testing is what answers that. Patients from Griffin start with an evaluation and testing, not with a decision about surgery.
